Gold&I began in 2014 when Stephani Botha set out to combine her 8 years of experience in the contemporary and fine jewellery world of South Africa specialising in design and manufacturing. 

 

In 2011 she obtained her Visual Arts (Creative Jewellery design and Metal techniques) degree at the University of Stellenbosch. During her studies she was a winner in the 2010 De Beers Shining Light competition and competed in the Platafrica 2011 competition.

 

From 2011 until 2015 she worked as a goldsmith improving her fine jewellery skills behind the bench.
